Gold turmeric almond milk
Ingredients
1 cup almonds pre-soaked overnight, drained
4 cups filtered water
3-4 pitted dates, pre-soaked in hot water for about 10 mins then drained
Splash of vanilla
1 tsp turmeric powder
1-2 tsp cinnamon powder
Dash of salt
Preparation
Add drained almonds, filtered water and dates to a blender and blend until smooth
Using a nut milk / yogurt straining bag, strain almond milk into a jug
Add vanilla, turmeric, dash of cinnamon, salt and mix well or blend again
Refrigerate and enjoy with your coffee, cereal or bakes!
