About the Recipe

Festive steel oat porridge bowl for Christmas!

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cup steel oats

  2. 1 1/4 cup milk

  3. Agave syrup

  4. Pumpkin spice (1 tsp) and extra cinnamon powder for good measure

  5. 1 tbsp molasses

  6. Dash of salt


Toppings, cranberries, Nutella, vanilla yogurt, yogurt covered pretzels, chocolate chips and anise seeds for decoration.

Preparation

  1. Bring milk to boil in a small pot on stovetop, reduce heat and add remaining ingredients.

  2. Whisk until well combined then let boil/bubble for a few minutes (7 or so).

  3. Oats will soak up the liquid, and texture will become thick. Serve warm and enjoy with yogurt,  chocolate or nut butter on top!
