Fall medley crumble

About the Recipe

Delicious flavors of fall in a tiny baked dish!


For the fruit and veggie mixture:

  1. 1 bosc pear

  2. 1-2 honeycrips apples

  3. 1 small pumpkin or other fruit veg like sweet potato, squash, etc.

  4. 1 cinnamon stick

  5. Cinnamon powder (optional)

For the crumble:

  1. 1 cup oats

  2. 1/2 coconut or almond flour

  3. 1/2 cup crushed pecans

  4. 2-3 tbsp coconut oil

  5. 2 tbsp cashew butter, or other

  6. 2 tsp cinnamon powder

  7. 1/2 cup sweetener of choice


Steam the fruit and veggie mix:

  1. Wash and slice the fruit/veg either into quarters or halves.

  2. Bring a large pot with 1 cinnamon stick, to boil.

  3. Add the fruit/veg mix and let boil until softened, about 20-30 mins.

  4. Turn heat off. Remove cinnamon stick. Drain but reserve just a bit of the water when done, and set the fruit/veg mixture aside.

For the crumble:

  1. Mix the crumble ingredients in a bowl while oven preheating at 375 F.

  2. Pack mixture into base of a pan or baking dish.

  3. Place in oven and bake for 10 mins.

Top the crumble with the delicious fruit and veggie mix. Serve with cream, yogurt or ice cream.
