About the Recipe
Overnight oats is our go-to breakfast. Super easy to prep and always satisfying!
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 cups water (or milk of choice for creamier texture)
2 tsp cinnamon powder, optional: additional spices / powders such as nutmeg, cloves, ginger powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of salt
Sweetener such as maple syrup, honey or agave syrup (best to keep minimal and add as topping later)
Optional: 1 tbsp seeds such as poppy or chia seeds
Optional: 1-2 tbsp yogurt of choice for a creamier texture
Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder (we recommend plant-based vanilla flavored)
Toppings: Here we use quinoa puffs, peanut butter, strawberries and grapefruit
Pour ingredients minus toppings into a large jar and mix well.
Cover jar and refrigerate overnight.
Serve in a bowl with toppings of choice.
