About the Recipe
Cherry banana smoothie topped with delicious melted chocolate
1 cup frozen pitted cherries
1 frozen banana
1/2 a pack (5.2oz) plain or vanilla flavored yogurt
1 tbsp flax seeds
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
splash of vanilla extract
splash of milk of choice
Before making the smoothie, place smoothie cup / jar in freezer
Heat 1/3-1/4 cup chocolate chunks or chips with 1-2 tsp tahini paste in microwave (about 30-40 sec on high)
Remove chocolate from microwave and stir until all melted and well combined
Add smoothie ingredients to blender and blitz until smooth and creamy
Remove cup/jar from freezer and dip into melted chocolate. Coat the inside if desired. Chocolate will harden instantly.
Pour smoothie into cup/jar and top with more melted chocolate.
Top with fresh cherry & enjoy!
