About the Recipe

Yogurt topped with caramelized pears with walnuts. The perfect way to start the day!


  1. 2 bosc pears

  2. 4-5 tbsp turbinado sugar (or other type)

  3. 2 tbsp coconut oil

  4. handful chopped up walnuts

  5. vanilla extract

  6. 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  7. Dash of salt

  8. Plain yogurt

  9. Granola (optional)


  1. Chop up pears into small cubes.

  2. To prep caramelized pears, heat 2 tbsp coconut oil in a medium pan / pot on stovetop.

  3. Cook for a few mins, adding sugar, spices, salt, walnuts, and vanilla extract.

  4. Mix and cover. Let cook on low heat for about 10 mins. If appears dry, add water (just about 1/2 cup). Cut the heat off when pears are softened.

  5. Prep bowl by adding yogurt, layering with granola, caramelized pears (repeat if needed).
