About the Recipe

Delicious creamy and filling baked oats for breakfast.

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cup rolled oats

  2. 1 1/2 mashed banana

  3. 1/2 tsp baking powder

  4. Splash of maple syrup

  5. 1/2 cup milk

  6. 1 tsp vanilla

  7. Dash of salt and cinnamon

  8. Optional toppings: fruit, sugar, chocolate, nuts, seeds.


Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Add oat and ingredients to a blender and blitz until softened (doesn't have to be ultra soft)

  3. Add layer of oats to baking tray or ramekins, top with a layer of yogurt of choice, then add final layer of oat mixture

  4. Optional: Add fruits, nuts, chocolate or a sprinkle of sugar on top. You can also top after baking. Here we toss some fresh blueberries in 1 tbsp coconut flour, spread on top of our oats along with slices of banana, chocolate and sprinkle with light brown sugar.

  5. Bake for 20-25 mins.
