About the Recipe

Perfect gingerbread cake for the Holiday season!


  1. 1 1/2 cup flour

  2. 1/2 cup sugar

  3. 1 tsp baking soda

  4. 1 tsp baking powder

  5. Splash of vanilla

  6. 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  7. 2/3 cup milk

  8. 2 eggs

  9. 2 tbsp molasses (blackstrap)

  10. 1-2 tsp Pumpkin spice, we add a bit of extra ginger powder and cinnamon powder for a more fragrant smell / taste


  1. Mix wet ingredients in a bowl and dry ingredients in another

  2. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until well combined

  3. Pour into greased baking pan and (8") and bake in preheated oven (350F) for 20-25 mins until toothpick comes out dry

  4. Cover with whipped cream (1 pint heavy whipping cream beaten with 1/4 cup powdered sugar until stiff)

  5. Here we top with yogurt covered pretzels and chopped up dark chocolate peppermint bark
