About the Recipe

It's like eating French toast and cinnamon buns at once, ultimate Autumn deliciousness!

Ingredients

  1. 1 French braided brioche bread loaf (400g)

  2. 1/4 cup coconut sugar

  3. 1 tbsp cinnamon powder

  4. 3 tbsp coconut oil melted

  5. 1/2 cup Philadelphia cream cheese

  6. 1/4 and 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar

  7. 1/4 cup and 3-4 tbsp cold water

Preparation

  1. Bring loaf to room temp.

  2. Combine coconut sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl.

  3. Set oven to preheat at 375F.

  4. Soften cream cheese in a bowl, using a fork or whisk and adding a little water if needed.

  5. Slice loaf 3 ways lengthwise.

  6. Brush each slice (white side) with coconut oil then sprinkle with coconut sugar and cinnamon mix.

  7. Roll slices and place in loaf tin/tray (lined with parchment paper).

  8. Brush top sides of rolls with coconut oil before placing in oven.

  9. Bake for 10 mins.

  10. To bowl of softened cream cheese, sift confectioner’s sugar while whisking / mixing until well combined and runny enough to your liking.

  11. After removing buns from oven, glaze with cream cheese mixture.

  12. Enjoy! P.S. I reckon warm is much tastier so I suggest microwaving for a couple of seconds after removing from fridge or before serving.
